Beyond everyday cooking oils, Indic Wisdom's specialty oils are extracted using the same Lakdi Ghani method, a traditional wooden churner operating at temperatures below 40°C, with no hexane and no chemical solvents. This cold-pressed speciality oil range covers: Walnut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Apricot Oil and Flaxseed Oil.
Each is suited to a mix of culinary finishing and traditional skin-and-hair care, and each is backed by Indic Wisdom's NABL-verified lab reports. Whether you are looking for natural oils for skin and hair or a nutrient-dense finishing oil for salads and dressings, this collection of specialty oils in India brings Lakdi Ghani purity to personal care and light culinary use. Every bottle is manufactured in-house, tested through 11+ quality checks, and packed at Indic Wisdom's own automated facility.
Choosing the Right Speciality Oil
Each speciality oil has a distinct fatty acid profile, absorption rate, and flavour. The guide below helps you pick the right one based on whether you need it for food, skin, hair, or a combination.
Wood Pressed Walnut Oil: A delicate, nutty finishing oil rich in Omega-3 fatty acids and polyphenols. Best drizzled over salads, pastas, or cold dips rather than heated. Traditionally used in Kashmir as a lightweight moisturising oil for skin and hair, especially in winter. Available in 100 ml and 200 ml packs.
Wood Pressed Sweet Almond Oil (Mamra): Extracted from premium Mamra-quality almonds, this oil is a staple in Ayurvedic self-care routines for its naturally emollient texture. Works for scalp massage, under-eye care, and body moisturising. Also suitable for light culinary use in desserts, smoothies, and garnishing. Available in 100 ml and 200 ml packs.
Wood Pressed Apricot Oil: A light, neutral oil that absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a heavy residue. Gentle enough for sensitive skin and commonly used for face massage and baby massage. Can also be used in light cooking and salad preparation. Available in 100 ml and 200 ml packs.
Wood Pressed Flaxseed Oil: One of the richest plant-based sources of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), a type of Omega-3 fatty acid. Best consumed raw; add a spoonful to smoothies, dressings, or drizzle over dal and rice after cooking. Not recommended for high-heat cooking, as heat breaks down the delicate Omega-3 content. Available in 200 ml and 500 ml packs.
