Still Got Questions?
Here are the answers.
Is NAVA Mustard Oil Spray aerosol-free and refined?
NAVA uses a mechanical pump spray, not a pressurised aerosol can. There are no CFCs, no propellants, and no dimethyl silicone. The oil itself is unrefined and cold-pressed, extracted on a Lakdi Ghani without chemicals or hexane solvents.
How can I use mustard oil spray?
Use it for tadka, tempering, shallow frying, greasing tawas, misting food before air frying, and coating kebabs before grilling. Hold the bottle 15 to 20 cm from the surface and spray evenly. One to two sprays are enough for most cooking tasks.
Does mustard oil spray help reduce oil consumption?
Yes. A single spray delivers approximately 0.5 to 1 ml of oil, compared to 5 to 15 ml from a typical pour. This controlled delivery helps reduce consumption by up to 35% per meal without changing the cooking method or sacrificing flavour.
Is mustard oil spray suitable for Indian cooking?
Yes. Mustard oil is one of the most commonly used cooking oils across North and East Indian households. The bold, pungent flavour pairs well with dal tadka, sarson ka saag, fish preparations, and achaar. The spray format makes it easier to control the quantity used per dish.
Can I use mustard oil spray in an air fryer?
Yes. A light mist on food and the air fryer basket before cooking helps achieve even browning and prevents sticking. The pungent mustard flavour holds up well at air-frying temperatures, adding warmth to roasted vegetables and tikkas.
